"The Water that made the beer that made Milwaukee famous" is the slogan on bottles of Milwaukee water called "Brew City Blue." The name and the slogan were chosen by a vote sponsored by the Milwaukee Press Club, which hosts the city's annual birthday parties. The bottles, provided by Milwaukee Brewing and Buffalo Water Beer Companies, were handed out to people who came to Tuesday's 163rd birthday party at Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin on the lakefront. The water was a one-time production and won't be sold to the public.
